Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bekir Baysu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rdth minute of the game Bedri Göktürk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Babaeski's Ozan Ziverbey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ozan Ziverbey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazhar Nurtekin's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Ozan Ziverbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedri Göktürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Rafettin Baykara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencay Ozan having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Rafettin Baykara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gencay Ozan made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Rafettin Baykara sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bekir Baysu in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gencay Ozan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bedri Göktürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ozan Ziverbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bekir Baysu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gencay Ozan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Bekir Baysu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bedri Göktürk was the one to do the kick off. Rafettin Baykara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gencay Ozan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Beyhan Serafet's late challenge caught a Orhangazispor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beyhan Serafet helped the player get up and apologised. Rafettin Baykara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bekir Baysu in the 66th minute of play forced Orhangazispor's goalkeeper Gencay Ozan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Babaeski booed when Orhangazispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alaaddin Kutunalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orhangazispor's Gencay Ozan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafettin Baykara in the 67th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Orhangazispor got a freekick which was hit by Refik Halit Uygun. 78 minutes into the game, Selahaddin Habiboğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Babaeski's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orhangazispor the free kick. Selahaddin Habiboğlu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Bekir Baysu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orhangazispor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
