Spectators: 7002 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Karkamis JK's Mehmet Fatih İlighan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Bedri Göktürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute, Fatih İmren had to leave the field with a concussion. When Sertaç Hekimbaşı fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karkamis JK's protests and gave Sertaç Hekimbaşı a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Orhangazispor booed when Karkamis JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sertaç Hekimbaşı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Mehmet Fatih İlighan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencay Ozan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanju Vecihi might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gencay Ozan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After recieving a nice pass, Karkamis JK's Evren Başayoğlu tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mazhar Nurtekin to strike the kick off in the second half. Barış Darcan came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Orhangazispor's Mazhar Nurtekin. But to his dismay, Mazhar Nurtekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mehmet Fatih İlighan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencay Ozan having to interfere. When Mehmet Fatih İlighan came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Karkamis JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Fatih İlighan couldn't finish the play. Mazhar Nurtekin's late challenge caught a Karkamis JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mazhar Nurtekin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Orhangazispor's Mazhar Nurtekin got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mehmet Fatih İlighan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gencay Ozan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alaaddin Kutunalp kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Orhangazispor's Mazhar Nurtekin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barış Darcan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Mehmet Fatih İlighan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gencay Ozan. The goal made the score 1-2. Mazhar Nurtekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barış Darcan having to interfere. Barış Darcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazhar Nurtekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Karkamis JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
