The supporters of BJKSK booed when alucraspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamuran Çetinsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Arif Gaffar Balkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BJKSK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Gaffar Balkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Burhan Özerkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özalp Haksever in the 40th minute of play. Arif Gaffar Balkan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Çağrı Onatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burhan Özerkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Gaffar Balkan in the 48th minute of play forced alucraspor's goalkeeper Birkan Rebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

BJKSK's Burhan Özerkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save BJKSK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, BJKSK's Arif Gaffar Balkan got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Arif Gaffar Balkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Kemal Yağmurdereli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Birkan Rebi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Rahmi Kılınç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Birkan Rebi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Cemal Nabi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Burhan Özerkin. That made the score 2-1 in the 74 minute of play. In the 78th minute, BJKSK's Ren Lunt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ren Lunt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BJKSK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ren Lunt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 79 played minutes BJKSK got a freekick which was hit by Ren Lunt. Burhan Özerkin made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Kamuran Çetinsoy sent off a good shot on target.
