Burhan Özerkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sercan Maruf in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Ceyhun Akkın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karasu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BJKSK the free kick. After 26 played minutes Karasu got a freekick which was hit by Ceyhun Akkın. The supporters of BJKSK booed when Karasu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedirhan Erel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Isidro Kauldi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hurşit Akbaşak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Mustafa Kemal Yağmurdereli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arif Gaffar Balkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karasu's Hurşit Akbaşak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Gaffar Balkan in the 43rd minute of play. Mustafa Kemal Yağmurdereli might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hurşit Akbaşak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Kemal Yağmurdereli ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
