The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oğuzalp Mübarek to strike the kick off in the second half. Ali Cengiz Tellioğlu's late challenge caught a Mardin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Cengiz Tellioğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Ali Cengiz Tellioğlu hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mardin getting a freekick after 70 minutes play.
