Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dörtdivan's Gazi Faydalı started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Gazi Faydalı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 4 minutes into the match, Trabzon's goal looked a bit too open when Gazi Faydalı came free, but Gökçen Türek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gökçen Türek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edip Hamurcu in the 10th minute. Dörtdivan's Özcan Bengi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Satıkbuğra in the 13th minute of play. Edip Hamurcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökçen Türek having to interfere. Gazi Faydalı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edip Hamurcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özcan Bengi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Satıkbuğra in the 22nd minute of play. Gazi Faydalı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gökçen Türek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edip Hamurcu got free with Gökçen Türek in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Edip Hamurcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gökçen Türek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazi Faydalı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Ömer Irgatbaşı put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dörtdivan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Trabzon a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anıl Cenk Orhun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dörtdivan's Özcan Bengi. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 53 minutes Trabzon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Berat Durusoy who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Bedih Togan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dörtdivan's supporters rose to their feet, but Bedih Togan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökçen Türek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Trabzon's zone, Edip Hamurcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökçen Türek came out of the goal and Edip Hamurcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Dörtdivan booed when Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erenay Ülgener didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th match minute, Dörtdivan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ertan Onuktekin to maneuver through the defense. Edip Hamurcu struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Gökçen Türek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dörtdivan. When Bedih Togan came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Dörtdivan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bedih Togan couldn't finish the play. Dörtdivan's Ataol Yıldırım got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Dörtdivan got a freekick which was hit by Şahap Aktaç. Dörtdivan's Edip Hamurcu got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Ataol Yıldırım managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dörtdivan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ataol Yıldırım was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aşkın Özercan's late challenge caught a Dörtdivan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aşkın Özercan helped the player get up and apologised. In the game's 83rd minute Dörtdivan's Berat Durusoy took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Gökçen Türek and thus the score was 1-1. Gazi Faydalı kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edip Hamurcu in the 88th minute of play forced Trabzon's goalkeeper Gökçen Türek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Koralp Özarkın. Özcan Bengi made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Garip Nuri sent off a good shot on target. Garip Nuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özcan Bengi having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Dörtdivan players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
