Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Galip Sarper took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ali Acarbey charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Acarbey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sariyahsi booed when Avanos SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Acarbey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes, Yiğitcan Gökalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sariyahsi and the Avanos SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sariyahsi's Yiğitcan Gökalp got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Sariyahsi's Serdar Egeli got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 10thth minute of the game Galip Sarper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sariyahsi's Köksal Recep was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Sariyahsi getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Barbaros Battal hit a great ball. Hüseyin Cahit Aktaşlı in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nazım Ülkenur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Yiğitcan Gökalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sariyahsi's supporters rose to their feet, but Yiğitcan Gökalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nazım Ülkenur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nazım Ülkenur made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Hüseyin Cahit Aktaşlı sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Avanos SK's zone, Hüseyin Cahit Aktaşlı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nazım Ülkenur came out of the goal and Hüseyin Cahit Aktaşlı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haşmet Tükelalp during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hüseyin Cahit Aktaşlı got free with Nazım Ülkenur in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Semih Kutsal kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Nazım Ülkenur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiğitcan Gökalp in the 41st minute of play. Hüseyin Cahit Aktaşlı in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nazım Ülkenur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yiğitcan Gökalp struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Nazım Ülkenur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sariyahsi. Hüseyin Cahit Aktaşlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nazım Ülkenur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yiğitcan Gökalp was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sariyahsi got a freekick which was hit by Barbaros Battal. Hüseyin Cahit Aktaşlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nazım Ülkenur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hüseyin Cahit Aktaşlı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Göktan Karakaya might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Köksal Recep. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Göktan Karakaya ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Cahit Aktaşlı notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Avanos SK's Nazım Ülkenur. Nazım Ülkenur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute Galip Sarper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Köksal Recep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nazım Ülkenur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiğitcan Gökalp in the 79th minute of play. If Göktan Karakaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Galip Sarper in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Köksal Recep prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Sariyahsi's Köksal Recep got control of the ball when Göktan Karakaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Güray Koçak hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Göktan Karakaya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Köksal Recep was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
