The Oyak fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Oyak's Ilgaz Uçanok looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Oyak's zone, Kadir Akıncıbeyoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüsrev Tayuk came out of the goal and Kadir Akıncıbeyoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kadir Akıncıbeyoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Oyak got a freekick which was hit by Garip Ziyaettin. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hulusi Heper made a kick off. Oyak's Hüsrev Tayuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulusi Heper in the 53rd minute of play. After 59 minutes of play, Harem JK's Kadir Akıncıbeyoğlu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hüsrev Tayuk was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cengiz Toktaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kadir Akıncıbeyoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hüsrev Tayuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Oyak defense, Hulusi Heper kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hüsrev Tayuk. The Oyak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hüsrev Tayuk should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Karhan Işılay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harem JK's Ahmet Kutsi Hafi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Harem JK from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oğuzer Erüstün during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Turgay Senih kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilgaz Uçanok in the 78th minute of play forced Harem JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Kutsi Hafi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hüsrev Tayuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karhan Işılay in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Cengiz Toktaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alpay Seyhan kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Harem JK's Ahmet Kutsi Hafi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Harem JK from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Oyak getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Metehan Cebir hit a great ball. Hulusi Heper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüsrev Tayuk having to interfere. Hüsrev Tayuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadir Akıncıbeyoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
