Oyak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cengiz Toktaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cengiz Toktaş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Öztürk Özdeğer was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Cengiz Toktaş might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Öztürk Özdeğer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 13th minute Ilgaz Uçanok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Öztürk Özdeğer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragıp Övünç in the 21st minute of play forced Oyak's goalkeeper Hüsrev Tayuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vahdet Beytekin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hüsrev Tayuk made a huge save. When Cengiz Toktaş came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Oyak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cengiz Toktaş couldn't finish the play. Gzy FC's Ümit Şener shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hüsrev Tayuk but with some difficulty. Cengiz Toktaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Öztürk Özdeğer having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Gzy FC got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Barış Akbilge. After having played for 43 minutes, Ilgaz Uçanok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilgaz Uçanok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Öztürk Özdeğer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilgaz Uçanok stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ilgaz Uçanok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gzy FC's Öztürk Özdeğer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilgaz Uçanok in the 54th minute of play. Garip Ziyaettin's late challenge caught a Gzy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garip Ziyaettin helped the player get up and apologised. Gzy FC's Gencal Filiz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Oyak. Gzy FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ilgaz Uçanok 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Ilgaz Uçanok recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the last second Öztürk Özdeğer throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ilgaz Uçanok in the 67thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Ilgaz Uçanok got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cengiz Toktaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Öztürk Özdeğer made a huge save. Cengiz Toktaş in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Öztürk Özdeğer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ümit Şener's late challenge caught a Oyak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ümit Şener helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Öztürk Özdeğer, was totally fooled by Oyak's Sungur Ergümen, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 83rd minute, Alpay Seyhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Oyak's Öztürk Özdeğer threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ilgaz Uçanok, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hüsrev Tayuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahdet Beytekin in the 94th minute of the match. Cengiz Toktaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oyak's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
