Gzy FC's Ragıp Övünç got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th of the match, Çetin Filiz tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Öztürk Özdeğer got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 8th match minute, Gzy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sefa Haneci to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Çetin Filiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Öztürk Özdeğer. The goal made the score 1-0. If Ragıp Övünç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çetin Filiz took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Öztürk Özdeğer. Öztürk Özdeğer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Sefa Haneci hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Çetin Filiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kulubey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çetin Filiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Çetin Filiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Barış Akbilge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meriç Yasık having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gzy FC's Gencal Filiz got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ragıp Övünç to strike the kick off in the second half. Öztürk Özdeğer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çetin Filiz in the 54th minute of the match. Çetin Filiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Esat Ökkeş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çetin Filiz in the 64th minute of play forced Gzy FC's goalkeeper Öztürk Özdeğer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gzy FC's Mustafa Barış Akbilge got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Esat Ökkeş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Öztürk Özdeğer was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. But to his dismay, Esat Ökkeş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After having played for 84 minutes, Ragıp Övünç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gzy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ragıp Övünç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vahdet Beytekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Ragıp Övünç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Meriç Yasık was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gzy FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kulubey.
