Barışcan Adar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Necdet Yavuzhan in the 10th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Dorukhan Atılay got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 14 minutes into the match, Sungurhan Çiftçibaşı notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BURSASPOR's Barışcan Adar. Barışcan Adar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barışcan Adar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Özçevik, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Barışcan Adar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Necdet Yavuzhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave Hafız Peyami a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 45 played minutes BURSASPOR got a freekick which was hit by Hafız Peyami.

Sungurhan Çiftçibaşı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Barışcan Adar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The BURSASPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barışcan Adar should have stopped the shot. The supporters of BURSASPOR booed when Kiziltepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aktan Cantez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kiziltepe's Aktan Cantez got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Dorukhan Atılay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes in the game Cengizhan Abide did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sungurhan Çiftçibaşı. If Türkeş Özçevik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Cengizhan Abide threw the ball into play from the sideline. BURSASPOR's Samet Akel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Necdet Yavuzhan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Barışcan Adar. That made the score 1-6 in the 87 minute of play. Ahmet Necdet Yavuzhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. The BURSASPOR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kiziltepe's performance. The match ended with a win for Kiziltepe.
