Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ilgaz Uçanok started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Gençlerbirliği's Aziz Önateş got control of the ball when Ilgaz Uçanok tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th minute, Gençlerbirliği's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cengiz Toktaş fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Abdurrahman Ustam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute Ilgaz Uçanok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aziz Önateş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Feyzullay Aşkın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsrev Tayuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Abdurrahman Ustam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hüsrev Tayuk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Oğuzer Erüstün hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Poyraz Arslanoğlu, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Feyzullay Aşkın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gençlerbirliği's supporters rose to their feet, but Feyzullay Aşkın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüsrev Tayuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd match minute, Oyak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garip Ziyaettin to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Gençlerbirliği's Poyraz Arslanoğlu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hüsrev Tayuk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. If Cengiz Toktaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aziz Önateş was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cengiz Toktaş showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 47 minute of play. The Oyak players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gençlerbirliği were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdurrahman Ustam to make the kick off. The supporters of Gençlerbirliği booed when Oyak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garip Ziyaettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Feyzullay Aşkın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gençlerbirliği fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Hüsrev Tayuk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hüsnü Öztaş. In the 63rdth minute of the game Abdurrahman Ustam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oyak's Hüsrev Tayuk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oğuzer Erüstün kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Oyak's Oğuzer Erüstün got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's Poyraz Arslanoğlu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilgaz Uçanok in the 68th minute of play forced Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Aziz Önateş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gençlerbirliği defense, Ilgaz Uçanok kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aziz Önateş. The Gençlerbirliği fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aziz Önateş should have stopped the shot. Poyraz Arslanoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Poyraz Arslanoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Gençlerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Poyraz Arslanoğlu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilgaz Uçanok in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aziz Önateş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gençlerbirliği's Aziz Önateş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilgaz Uçanok in the 98th minute of play. The Gençlerbirliği players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Oyak from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
