Arif Ozan Başkaynak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahap Han in the 38th minute of the match. Dündar Bostan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arif Ozan Başkaynak having to make a save. Vahap Han sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezmi Arslangiray helped the player get up and apologised. Tottenham's Vahap Han pulled a muscle in his back after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tottenham's Okaner Tumbay was substituted for Vahap Han. YALNIZ KURT ÜÇ HİLAL's Necat Sırat got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dündar Bostan fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tottenham's protests and gave Dündar Bostan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Dündar Bostan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Okaner Tumbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tottenham's supporters rose to their feet, but Okaner Tumbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Ozan Başkaynak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Okaner Tumbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Tottenham were the better team. Tottenham's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
