Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cüneyd Giryar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kılıç Oğuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orhan Seyfi Candeğer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Tayyar Haseki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Ilgin's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Bülent Vecid came free, but Balaban Mecnun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Yavuz Bülent Vecid notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ilgin's Balaban Mecnun. Balaban Mecnun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Diyarbakir's zone, Orhan Seyfi Candeğer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kılıç Oğuz came out of the goal and Orhan Seyfi Candeğer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batıhan Onar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kılıç Oğuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Seyfi Candeğer in the 26th minute of play. Karhan Ulubay kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Orhan Seyfi Candeğer had several of the Diyarbakir's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Kılıç Oğuz as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 32 minutes, Necaettin Taykut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilgin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necaettin Taykut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Orhan Seyfi Candeğer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Cüneyd Giryar put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Balaban Mecnun. After 44 played minutes Ilgin got a freekick which was hit by Necaettin Taykut. After the first half Diyarbakir were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orhan Seyfi Candeğer to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Ilgin got a freekick which was hit by Necaettin Taykut. After 53 played minutes, Diyarbakir's Bayındır Mehmet Hazar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Balaban Mecnun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Diyarbakir reached it. When Cüneyd Giryar came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Diyarbakir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cüneyd Giryar couldn't finish the play. In the 59th match minute, Ilgin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Fikret Naşit to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th match minute, Ilgin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batıhan Onar to maneuver through the defense. Cüneyd Giryar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balaban Mecnun having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Ilgin got a freekick which was hit by Selman Şahbender. With his leg Balaban Mecnun managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Diyarbakir's Yavuz Bülent Vecid fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Yavuz Bülent Vecid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Balaban Mecnun made a huge save. Batıhan Onar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Orhan Seyfi Candeğer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kılıç Oğuz was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Balaban Mecnun was a little too slow when Cüneyd Giryar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Diyarbakir eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
