Kavaklı Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ümraniye SK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kavaklı Spor's Cihangir Ergül got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Akşemseddin Hürmetli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ümraniye SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Akşemseddin Hürmetli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ataman İpekçi. Kavaklı Spor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Akşemseddin Hürmetli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hulki Engintalay in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ataman İpekçi saved Kavaklı Spor from getting behind. Hulki Engintalay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ataman İpekçi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Kavaklı Spor getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cesur Savaş hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Cesur Savaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Kavaklı Spor getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. In the game's 26th minute Ümraniye SK's Ahmet Gökalp Yazar took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Ataman İpekçi and thus the score was 0-3. Gökalp Günaydın kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Hulki Engintalay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Hulki Engintalay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ataman İpekçi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaman Samir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atabey Akbatur in the 38th minute of play. Atabey Akbatur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yaman Samir came out and tried to block the shot, but Atabey Akbatur slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hulki Engintalay to make the kick off. Cesur Savaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Yaman Samir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ataman İpekçi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hulki Engintalay in the 57th minute of the match. Atabey Akbatur struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Yaman Samir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kavaklı Spor. In the 94th minute, Asım Yıldırım hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ümraniye SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
