GALLERA FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Atabey Akbatur 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Cesur Savaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Şimşek Okyay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nadir Işıker was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 32 played minutes GALLERA FC got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Işıker. If Atabey Akbatur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GALLERA FC's Arslan Cantürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baskın Sidar in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Nejat Alp Ganim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALLERA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kavaklı Spor the free kick. In the 45th match minute, GALLERA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nejat Alp Ganim to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atabey Akbatur was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Cihangir Ergül quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 66 minutes, Atabey Akbatur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kavaklı Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atabey Akbatur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Atabey Akbatur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kavaklı Spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Atabey Akbatur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arslan Cantürk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to GALLERA FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Arslan Cantürk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cihangir Ergül's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arslan Cantürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Alperen Tokuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Kavaklı Spor's Cihangir Ergül sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arslan Cantürk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cihangir Ergül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GALLERA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
