Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tesvikiye JK's Kayhan Lütufkâr started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tesvikiye JK's Çetin Özen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesur Akşin in the 7th minute of play. Özgüzeldere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Azim Öztek scored to the left of an out of position Mete Yaslı, making the score, 1-1. Mete Yaslı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kayhan Lütufkâr in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Şevket Gayret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çetin Özen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Varol Periz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Çetin Özen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesur Akşin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Seyrani Nasih was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tesvikiye JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Özgüzeldere the free kick. In the 26th minute, Şevket Gayret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Şevket Gayret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çetin Özen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesur Akşin in the 30th minute of the match. Özgüzeldere's Şevket Gayret got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denizhan Rıfat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Çetin Özen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şevket Gayret in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Çetin Özen saved Tesvikiye JK from getting behind. When Özgüzeldere's Şevket Gayret, in the 41st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Özgüzeldere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şevket Gayret was the one to do the kick off. Keramettin Elçin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, Tesvikiye JK's goal looked a bit too open when Şevket Gayret came free, but Çetin Özen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesur Akşin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Çetin Özen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When Cesur Akşin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Özgüzeldere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesur Akşin couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tesvikiye JK's Emin Tümer got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match, Cesur Akşin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Çetin Özen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Şevket Gayret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çetin Özen having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Varol Periz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tesvikiye JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Özgüzeldere the free kick. After 63 played minutes Tesvikiye JK got a freekick which was hit by Varol Periz. Çetin Özen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şevket Gayret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Varol Periz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Cesur Akşin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Çetin Özen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cesur Akşin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Çetin Özen made a huge save. Şevket Gayret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Çetin Özen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Şevket Gayret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesur Akşin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Çetin Özen made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Özgüzeldere's Şevket Gayret dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Tesvikiye JK's Varol Periz got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Varol Periz off the ground. A hard shot by Bahtiyar Tuncal from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Çetin Özen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Şevket Gayret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çetin Özen having to interfere. When the match was over Özgüzeldere could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tesvikiye JK throughout the match.
