In the 18th minute Batıkan Gürçınar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Süruri Nefi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Merinos's Akın Kutlu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Süruri Nefi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ali Güralp Hekim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahattin Ceviz having to interfere. In the 34th minute Andaç Cabir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahattin Ceviz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes çorumspor got a freekick which was hit by Ziya Onur Samih. In the 37th minute, Ali Güralp Hekim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bahattin Ceviz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Bahattin Ceviz managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when çorumspor's Doğan Hızlı fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Merinos's Bahattin Ceviz got control of the ball when Doğan Hızlı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doğan Hızlı succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 84th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Güralp Hekim in the 87th minute of play forced Merinos's goalkeeper Bahattin Ceviz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
