The tension between the Thrace SK and the Atasehir JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 8 minutes into the match, Thrace SK's goalkeeper Saip Tugal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Güner Isfahanlı. With a little luck, Thrace SK's Saip Tugal got control of the ball when Güner Isfahanlı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Namık Tuğaltay kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Atasehir JK's Songur Pektürk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Saip Tugal but with some difficulty. With an all-out effort, Atasehir JK's Saip Tugal threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ogün Enfal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Atasehir JK's Ogün Enfal got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Thrace SK got a freekick which was hit by Gaffar Kamil. Saip Tugal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Güner Isfahanlı in the 30th minute. Saip Tugal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ogün Enfal, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ogün Enfal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Saip Tugal 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Ogün Enfal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saip Tugal, 3-0. Güner Isfahanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Atasehir JK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Suavi Tokalp hit a great ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atasehir JK's goalkeeper Baha Süvari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saip Tugal was a little too slow when Ogün Enfal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-0.

The wind increased when Adem Şenal made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Samet Nebahattin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adem Şenal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Songur Pektürk during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atasehir JK's Songur Pektürk got a free kick in the 57th minute. Saip Tugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güner Isfahanlı in the 60th minute of play.
