The referee ignored Dalaman's protests and gave Bayındır Dalga a yellow card for diving instead. Dalaman's Yakup Kadri Yildıran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Dalaman from getting a goal against them. Azim Öztek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Yakup Kadri Yildıran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalaman's Yakup Kadri Yildıran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kayhan Lütufkâr in the 24th minute of play. When Dalaman's Mecnun Özçin, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Dalaman. In the 28th match minute, Tesvikiye JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emin Tümer to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Namık Terim sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tesvikiye JK's Çetin Özen didn't even have to move. In the 35th minute, Hacı Ali Sabit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Dalaman booed when Tesvikiye JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Varol Periz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Mecnun Özçin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalaman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mecnun Özçin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mecnun Özçin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 77th minute, Azim Öztek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kayhan Lütufkâr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakup Kadri Yildıran having to interfere. In the 84th minute Kayhan Lütufkâr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakup Kadri Yildıran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalaman's Namık Terim got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lokman Akçabay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Azim Öztek came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Tesvikiye JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Azim Öztek couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Dalaman's zone, Kayhan Lütufkâr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yakup Kadri Yildıran came out of the goal and Kayhan Lütufkâr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
