The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Metin Argun during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Havran's Metin Argun got a free kick in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gani Satılmış got free with Sümer Verim in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Işık Mahsun hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Cankut Tokuztuğ might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efekan Lokman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cankut Tokuztuğ ran back to his position shaking his head. Gani Satılmış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gani Satılmış had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Tolga Helvacı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sümer Verim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Cankut Tokuztuğ who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pera FK's Efekan Lokman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tolga Helvacı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sümer Verim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pera FK's Tolga Helvacı in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Havran's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tolga Helvacı to strike the kick off in the second half. Tolga Helvacı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Havran's zone, Serter Oruk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sümer Verim came out of the goal and Serter Oruk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gani Satılmış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Işık Mahsun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pera FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Havran the free kick. Işık Mahsun hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Cankut Tokuztuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Havran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cankut Tokuztuğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pera FK's zone, Batıhan Koray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efekan Lokman came out of the goal and Batıhan Koray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gani Satılmış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tolga Helvacı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sümer Verim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Havran fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! If Tolga Helvacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sümer Verim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolga Helvacı in the 83rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Tolga Helvacı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sümer Verim. Havran's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tolga Helvacı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Gani Satılmış came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Pera FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gani Satılmış couldn't finish the play. Gani Satılmış might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sümer Verim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gani Satılmış ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Pera FK booed when Havran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metin Argun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pera FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
