In the 7th match minute, TRABZONSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orçun Mazhar to maneuver through the defense. Bayhan Özcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Vedat Tekke in the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güven Onbulak in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayhan Özcan saved TRABZONSPOR from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güven Onbulak during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TRABZONSPOR booed when Yenikentgücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güven Onbulak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bayhan Özcan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Güven Onbulak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 70 minute of play. Bayhan Özcan made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ali Vedat Tekke sent off a good shot on target. Ali Vedat Tekke took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bayhan Özcan. Bayhan Özcan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Vedat Tekke got free with Bayhan Özcan in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Birant Tokuş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yenikentgücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Birant Tokuş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayhan Özcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Güven Onbulak struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Bayhan Özcan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yenikentgücü. Halil Oylum hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The TRABZONSPOR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yenikentgücü's performance. The match ended with a win for Yenikentgücü.
