Güven Onbulak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Ali Vedat Tekke made a precise shot to the right of Selman Eyüp. BOSHPORUS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ali Vedat Tekke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selman Eyüp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Yenikentgücü booed when BOSHPORUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarp İnan didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Güven Onbulak was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Yüksel Özsungur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BOSHPORUS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yenikentgücü the free kick. After a rather tough play, BOSHPORUS's Yüksel Özsungur got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Sarp İnan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Yenikentgücü's Güven Onbulak in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. BOSHPORUS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Talat Erdoğan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Selman Eyüp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Vedat Tekke in the 69th minute. Bora Keskiner charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bora Keskiner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Yenikentgücü booed when BOSHPORUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bora Keskiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Ali Vedat Tekke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yenikentgücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Vedat Tekke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ali Vedat Tekke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yenikentgücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Vedat Tekke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yenikentgücü were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
