An unexpectedly hard shot by Güven Onbulak in the 14th minute of play forced Tekkeköy JK's goalkeeper Recep Talha Tacal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Recep Talha Tacal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Vedat Tekke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüseyin Koyak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artun Egeli having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Güven Onbulak to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hüseyin Koyak in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artun Egeli saved Yenikentgücü from getting behind. During the 66th minute of the match Birant Tokuş completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Yenikentgücü's Artun Egeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Koyak in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Güven Onbulak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yenikentgücü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
