An unexpectedly hard shot by Barışcan Dündar in the 12th minute of play forced BOSHPORUS's goalkeeper Selman Eyüp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meriç Tuner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağlar Mansız in the 14th minute of the match. Kerem Engintalay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, BOSHPORUS's Selman Eyüp got control of the ball when Nusrettin Heybetli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barışcan Dündar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Çağlar Mansız got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BOSHPORUS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Fikret Demiroğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Barışcan Dündar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barışcan Dündar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nusrettin Heybetli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selman Eyüp having to interfere. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ahmet Fikret Demiroğlu hit a great ball. Aybar Balbay, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Meriç Tuner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yüksel Özsungur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kerem Engintalay made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Kerem Engintalay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Çağlar Mansız fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meriç Tuner having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Başaran Şenol to maneuver through the defense. If Çağlar Mansız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When BOSHPORUS's Kerem Engintalay, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for BOSHPORUS. Selman Eyüp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nusrettin Heybetli in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Nusrettin Heybetli made a precise shot to the right of Selman Eyüp. BOSHPORUS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nusrettin Heybetli in the 81st minute of play forced BOSHPORUS's goalkeeper Selman Eyüp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barışcan Dündar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Selman Eyüp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GALATASARAY's Meriç Tuner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerem Engintalay in the 84th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Sadri Gümüş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GALATASARAY's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
