Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. İlhan Türkşen started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Önder Özgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüstem Müftüoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in The Universe Soldiers's zone, Sami Nebahattin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Utkan Orbey came out of the goal and Sami Nebahattin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, The Universe Soldiers's goal looked a bit too open when İlhan Türkşen came free, but Utkan Orbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Bünyan JK's İlhan Türkşen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Utkan Orbey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gökhan Verim hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Yakup Kadri Derim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlhan Türkşen in the 24th minute of play forced The Universe Soldiers's goalkeeper Utkan Orbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Egemen Pakkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüstem Müftüoğlu having to interfere. Yakup Kadri Derim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bünyan JK's İlhan Türkşen got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Önder Özgan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Önder Özgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Yakup Kadri Derim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bünyan JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yakup Kadri Derim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Utkan Orbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Bünyan JK's İlhan Türkşen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Utkan Orbey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Serter Tokalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Sami Nebahattin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utkan Orbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Utkan Orbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlhan Türkşen in the 76th minute of the match. If Yakup Kadri Derim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedrettin Öktemer hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yakup Kadri Derim in the 86th minute of play forced The Universe Soldiers's goalkeeper Utkan Orbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, İlhan Türkşen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Yakup Kadri Derim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Universe Soldiers were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bünyan JK's much stronger midfield.
