In the 9th minute Altuğ Bayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kandemir Akkoç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tacettin Dilşad in the 12th minute of play forced Atasehir SK's goalkeeper Kandemir Akkoç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kandemir Akkoç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tacettin Dilşad in the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atasehir SK's zone, Altuğ Bayer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kandemir Akkoç came out of the goal and Altuğ Bayer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kandemir Akkoç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Battal Gazi İrfan in the 35th minute of the match. When Bedirhan Yalgın fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yeniköy SK's protests and gave Bedirhan Yalgın a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Bedirhan Yalgın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Atasehir SK's Azim Yükselir got a free kick in the 39th minute. Bedirhan Yalgın hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Altuğ Bayer to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Altuğ Bayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kandemir Akkoç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Altuğ Bayer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kandemir Akkoç. That made the score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. The supporters of Yeniköy SK booed when Atasehir SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Arif Lütfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cevahir Akduman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kandemir Akkoç. Atasehir SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tacettin Dilşad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kandemir Akkoç having to interfere. Tacettin Dilşad in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kandemir Akkoç, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kandemir Akkoç acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cevahir Akduman. Tacettin Dilşad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kandemir Akkoç came out and tried to block the shot, but Tacettin Dilşad slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Yeniköy SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atasehir SK throughout the match.
