Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Altuğ Bayer kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Yeniköy SK's Cevahir Akduman got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ömer Özsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Kuthan having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Denizlispor's goal looked a bit too open when Bedirhan Yalgın came free, but Kutlualp Dursunali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kutlualp Dursunali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedirhan Yalgın in the 13th minute of play. Kutlualp Dursunali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Altuğ Bayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kutlualp Dursunali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tacettin Dilşad in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Denizlispor's Berke Rahmi got a free kick in the 40th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Tanju Kuthan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 45 minutes into the match, Tacettin Dilşad notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Denizlispor's Kutlualp Dursunali. Kutlualp Dursunali was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ömer Özsen was the one to do the kick off. Arcan Elçi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ali Erdem Çelen fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yeniköy SK's protests and gave Ali Erdem Çelen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Ali Erdem Çelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Denizlispor's goal looked a bit too open when Altuğ Bayer came free, but Kutlualp Dursunali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Yeniköy SK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Selman Yüksel hit a great ball. Ercan Himmet hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Tacettin Dilşad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Denizlispor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Yeniköy SK a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cevahir Akduman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Denizlispor's Kutlualp Dursunali. 1-3. When Tacettin Dilşad came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Yeniköy SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tacettin Dilşad couldn't finish the play. Ömer Özsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kutlualp Dursunali was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Altuğ Bayer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Altuğ Bayer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Ali Nejat İnanç hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Tanju Kuthan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Özsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With a little luck, Denizlispor's Kutlualp Dursunali got control of the ball when Tacettin Dilşad tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Yeniköy SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
