Kandemir Akkoç came out and tried to block the shot, but Tuna Sabancı slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Bekir Şahbey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafet Yazgı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Coşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 15th match minute, Demirbilekspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erol Karacan to maneuver through the defense. Rıfat Baysu's late challenge caught a Demirbilekspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rıfat Baysu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atasehir SK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rıfat Baysu hit a great ball. İshak İklim's shot from long distance in the 19th minute was not bad at all, but Atasehir SK's Kandemir Akkoç knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. When Kutluay Tecimen came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Demirbilekspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kutluay Tecimen couldn't finish the play. Kandemir Akkoç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuna Sabancı, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ahmet Tolga Çelikoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafet Yazgı having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, Demirbilekspor's Kutluay Tecimen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kandemir Akkoç was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bekir Şahbey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Kandemir Akkoç made a huge save. In the 45th minute of the match Demirbilekspor got a corner. Atasehir SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. İshak İklim ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Berkay Sami got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kandemir Akkoç quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tuna Sabancı to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Atasehir SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tuna Sabancı came free, but Kandemir Akkoç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Ahmet Tolga Çelikoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafet Yazgı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafet Yazgı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Tolga Çelikoz in the 55th minute of play. İsmail Coşan might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafet Yazgı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Tuna Sabancı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kandemir Akkoç was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Mehmet Emin Bircan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Turabi Olgunsu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Demirbilekspor's Rafet Yazgı didn't even have to move. Atasehir SK's Kandemir Akkoç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutluay Tecimen in the 65th minute of play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 90th match minute, Demirbilekspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erol Karacan to maneuver through the defense. Turabi Olgunsu, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
