Spectators: 5454 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 15) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Muharrem Ural started the match with the kick off. Güray Berksan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Poligom got a freekick which was hit by Selçuk Yaren. Poligom's Samuel Midttun got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Poligom's Çetin Akbilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muharrem Ural in the 15th minute of play. Çetin Akbilge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muharrem Ural, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Poligom getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Talat Burçhan hit a great ball. In the 29th minute İnanç Tamkut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çetin Akbilge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Tano's late challenge caught a AkdemirGücü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Tano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Poligom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Tano to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Baha Gazir notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Poligom's Çetin Akbilge. Çetin Akbilge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Samuel Midttun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emir Cihaner. AkdemirGücü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Midttun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Baha Gazir kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Muharrem Ural made a precise shot to the right of Çetin Akbilge. Poligom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half AkdemirGücü were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Checa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Poligom's Çetin Akbilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muharrem Ural in the 53rd minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Poligom's goal looked a bit too open when Muharrem Ural came free, but Çetin Akbilge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Çetin Akbilge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yusuf Ziya Seccac in the 61st minute. Muharrem Ural received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Çetin Akbilge came out and tried to block the shot, but Muharrem Ural slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 66th minute. Yusuf Ziya Seccac kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Lefter Recep hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Poligom's goalkeeper Çetin Akbilge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muharrem Ural. After 84 played minutes AkdemirGücü got a freekick which was hit by Baha Gazir. After some careless play in the AkdemirGücü defense, Rolando Tano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emir Cihaner. The AkdemirGücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emir Cihaner should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, AkdemirGücü's Muharrem Ural dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Emir Cihaner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Checa in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AkdemirGücü had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
