Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erol İklim kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aras Görkem Bakır during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Baltalimani getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aras Görkem Bakır hit a great ball. Artvin's Aktaç Mansur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Gaffar Akçal in the 12th minute of play. Emre Şinas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erol İklim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 15 in the game by Refik Halit Tunçbay from a close distance when the talented Emre Şinas managed to make a qualified save. Baltalimani's players were relieved. Baltalimani's Arif Gaffar Akçal got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Refik Halit Tunçbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Baltalimani's goalkeeper Emre Şinas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Refik Halit Tunçbay. After 27 played minutes Baltalimani got a freekick which was hit by Aras Görkem Bakır. Emre Şinas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erol İklim in the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Ali Nabi Kazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Gaffar Akçal in the 39th minute of play forced Artvin's goalkeeper Aktaç Mansur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltalimani's Balaban Ruzi suffered a concussion in the 40th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Emre Şinas made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Refik Halit Tunçbay sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some careless play in the Baltalimani defense, Erol İklim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emre Şinas. The Baltalimani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emre Şinas should have stopped the shot. Emre Şinas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Refik Halit Tunçbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Erol İklim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Emre Şinas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Baltalimani's Tibet Çokman got a free kick in the 66th minute. It was beautiful to see Artvin's Aykan Ongay in action when he in the 68th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A collision led to Baltalimani getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. İhsan İpek hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes Baltalimani got a freekick which was hit by Okan Yazıcı. 80 minutes into the match, Artvin's Gürkan Siret sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emre Şinas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Baltalimani's goal looked a bit too open when Refik Halit Tunçbay came free, but Emre Şinas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Refik Halit Tunçbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Erol İklim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emre Şinas. Baltalimani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erol İklim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Artvin's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
