Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Basri İbiş sped through Artvin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aktaç Mansur. In the 18th minute of the match, Erol İklim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kerim Tugay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aktaç Mansur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İstemihan Tunçaslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Kerim Tugay made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Refik Halit Tunçbay sent off a good shot on target. Erol İklim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerim Tugay having to interfere. If Erol İklim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erol İklim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erol İklim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kerim Tugay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erol İklim in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kerim Tugay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Artvin's goal looked a bit too open when İstemihan Tunçaslan came free, but Aktaç Mansur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Refik Halit Tunçbay might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kerim Tugay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Refik Halit Tunçbay ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İstemihan Tunçaslan to strike the kick off in the second half. Gürkan Siret kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Refik Halit Tunçbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basri İbiş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Refik Halit Tunçbay struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Kerim Tugay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Artvin. Kerim Tugay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Refik Halit Tunçbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erol İklim hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Artvin's Refik Halit Tunçbay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kerim Tugay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erol İklim in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kerim Tugay saved Sanal Gemi from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, Erol İklim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kerim Tugay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cesur Turay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erol İklim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Sanal Gemi's Basri İbiş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aktaç Mansur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Kerim Tugay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erol İklim in the 88th minute of the match. Sanal Gemi's Kerim Tugay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Refik Halit Tunçbay in the 89th minute of play. Erol İklim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kerim Tugay having to make a save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sanal Gemi were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Artvin side.
