In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Sezgin Demir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GALATASARAY's Melik Adar got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kerim Tugay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melik Adar, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Sezgin Demir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basri İbiş in the 41st minute of the match. Kerim Tugay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melik Adar in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İstemihan Tunçaslan to strike the kick off in the second half. İstemihan Tunçaslan struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sezgin Demir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanal Gemi. If Basri İbiş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GALATASARAY's Sezgin Demir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İstemihan Tunçaslan in the 58th minute of play. Boğaç Taçkın's late challenge caught a Sanal Gemi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boğaç Taçkın helped the player get up and apologised. Boğaç Taçkın kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. GALATASARAY's Sezgin Demir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. Sezgin Demir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İstemihan Tunçaslan in the 65th minute of the match. When İstemihan Tunçaslan came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Sanal Gemi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İstemihan Tunçaslan couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Sanal Gemi's goal looked a bit too open when Melik Adar came free, but Kerim Tugay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göktan Özdeş charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göktan Özdeş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. İstemihan Tunçaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melik Adar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerim Tugay having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Melik Adar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kerim Tugay. Sanal Gemi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melik Adar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 96th minute İzzet Kuthan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezgin Demir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GALATASARAY were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sanal Gemi for a fine match.
