The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Suat Akbaba to strike the kick off in the second half. Refik Halit Tunçbay struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rüştü Bostancı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Artvin. Aytuğ Patlar's late challenge caught a Artvin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aytuğ Patlar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ardahan getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Aytuğ Patlar hit a great ball. Ali Nabi Kazan didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Bilge Kağan Ergüden fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ardahan's protests and gave Bilge Kağan Ergüden a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Artvin booed when Ardahan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilge Kağan Ergüden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artvin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
