Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 100) Çukurova Belediyespor's Saffet Murathan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Çukurova Belediyespor's Şakir Tanuğur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sezgin Demir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 10th play minutes Şakir Tanuğur shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Sezgin Demir and just under the crossbar into goal. When Kudret Sarpkan fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY's protests and gave Kudret Sarpkan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kudret Sarpkan to maneuver through the defense. GALATASARAY's Sezgin Demir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şakir Tanuğur in the 15th minute of play. Şakir Tanuğur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezgin Demir having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göktan Özdeş in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şehzade Trabzonlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GALATASARAY's Sezgin Demir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şakir Tanuğur in the 26th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Boğaç Taçkın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY and the Çukurova Belediyespor players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Boğaç Taçkın hit a great ball. Göktan Özdeş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Şehzade Trabzonlu made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barışcan Özaltan during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The corner ended in İsmail Cem Başkara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GALATASARAY's Sezgin Demir did a great save. Çukurova Belediyespor's Şehzade Trabzonlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Çukurova Belediyespor from getting a goal against them. After the first half Çukurova Belediyespor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GALATASARAY! GALATASARAY:s Sezgin Demir showed great skill when he stopped İsmail Cem Başkara:s penalty. The audience was convinced that Saffet Murathan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sezgin Demir was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 71 played minutes GALATASARAY got a freekick which was hit by Refik Halit Okutan. Şakir Tanuğur scored 0-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sezgin Demir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Şakir Tanuğur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melik Adar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Şehzade Trabzonlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, one of GALATASARAY:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GALATASARAY. Sezgin Demir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şakir Tanuğur in the 96th minute. Şakir Tanuğur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erim Kabakçı to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Çukurova Belediyespor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
