In the 5th minute Şahin Şahinter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanju Akgüngör saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, İnanç Sunay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AYATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but İnanç Sunay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, AYATA's Kartal Soysaldı got a free kick in the 25th minute. Şahin Sati struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tanju Akgüngör didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TRABZONGULDAK JK. After 28 minutes of play, AYATA's İnanç Sunay made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Yenal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Şahin Şahinter scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tanju Akgüngör, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of AYATA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TRABZONGULDAK JK:s goal. When Kartal Soysaldı fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AYATA's protests and gave Kartal Soysaldı a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, AYATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kartal Soysaldı to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İnanç Sunay to make the kick off. Çağrı Ekinci charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çağrı Ekinci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Çağrı Ekinci kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, TRABZONGULDAK JK's Behlül Pekgöz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Tanju Akgüngör successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Şahin Şahinter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, TRABZONGULDAK JK's Şahin Şahinter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanju Akgüngör narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, İnanç Sunay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Şahin Sati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Şahin Şahinter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Tanju Akgüngör when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 65 minutes into the game, İnanç Sunay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Mustafa Yenal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fatih Senih hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Mustafa Yenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pekin Usal in the 70th minute of the match. İnanç Sunay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Yenal having to make a save. Tanju Akgüngör showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şahin Sati, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. TRABZONGULDAK JK's Mustafa Yenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İnanç Sunay in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Şahin Sati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şahin Şahinter got free with Tanju Akgüngör in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, İnanç Sunay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Yenal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Tanju Akgüngör made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şahin Şahinter in the 90th minute. Birsel Ünan hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Behlül Pekgöz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AYATA's Tanju Akgüngör didn't even have to move. For all the effort they put into the match, the TRABZONGULDAK JK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AYATA.
