Galatasaray's Mustafa Cumhur Sacid shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tanju Akgüngör but with some difficulty. In the 4th match minute, AYATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiğitcan Zeval to maneuver through the defense. Talip Saadettin charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Talip Saadettin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aktuğ Hunalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Akgüngör having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Çağan Oskay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Çağan Oskay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanju Akgüngör breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağan Oskay to maneuver through the defense. Tanju Akgüngör showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağan Oskay in the 25th minute of the match. İnanç Sunay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cenk Cemre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İnanç Sunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aktuğ Hunalp came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aktuğ Hunalp couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aktuğ Hunalp got free with Tanju Akgüngör in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kamer Akdurmuş hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray's goalkeeper Cenk Cemre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Çağrı Ekinci made the kick off in the second half. Tanju Akgüngör showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağan Oskay, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Birsel Ünan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ataol İlbey hit a great ball. Cenk Cemre made an important save on a dangerous shot by İnanç Sunay in the 66th minute. Aktuğ Hunalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AYATA's Tanju Akgüngör played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çağan Oskay in the 80th minute of play. After 93 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Kamer Akdurmuş. When Çağrı Ekinci came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the AYATA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağrı Ekinci couldn't finish the play. AYATA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
