Sefa Cesman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melik Bozkaya having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Ertunç Okhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melik Bozkaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Adanaspor JK booed when Samatya FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aras Çağman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akil Tuğsavaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melik Bozkaya having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Samatya FK got a freekick which was hit by Recep Talha Hisar. After having played for 20 minutes, Akil Tuğsavaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adanaspor JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akil Tuğsavaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Samatya FK's goal looked a bit too open when Akil Tuğsavaş came free, but Melik Bozkaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Adanaspor JK's Nuralp Paşa got control of the ball when Galip Temcit tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Galip Temcit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samatya FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Galip Temcit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuralp Paşa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Aras Çağman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nuralp Paşa. The goal made the score 1-1. When Ertunç Okhan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. Ertunç Okhan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Adanaspor JK's Arif Cengiz Altunışık tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Adanaspor JK's Akil Tuğsavaş got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sefa Cesman in the 47th minute of play forced Samatya FK's goalkeeper Melik Bozkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sefa Cesman to strike the kick off in the second half. Akil Tuğsavaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Melik Bozkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuralp Paşa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galip Temcit, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Abdulbaki Çelikel's late challenge caught a Samatya FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdulbaki Çelikel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Adanaspor JK's Abdulbaki Çelikel got a free kick in the 65th minute. Melik Bozkaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sefa Cesman, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Aras Çağman managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 79th minute, Galip Temcit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuralp Paşa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Samatya FK's Galip Temcit got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee gave Samatya FK a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ayberk Ongun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Adanaspor JK's Nuralp Paşa. 3-1. 92 minutes into the match, Adanaspor JK's Sefa Cesman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melik Bozkaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
