Orçun Serkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Kaan İlke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karacabey JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaan İlke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cenk Cemre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaan İlke, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Orçun Serkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karacabey JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Orçun Serkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cenk Cemre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cenk Cemre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orçun Serkan went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Kaan İlke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cenk Cemre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orçun Serkan made a kick off. Kamer Akdurmuş was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When Orçun Serkan came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Karacabey JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orçun Serkan couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Karacabey JK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galatasaray.
