Cenk Cemre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aras Çağman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aras Çağman was the one to do the kick off. The attack was good, but when Aras Çağman in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 59 played minutes, Samatya FK's Ayberk Ongun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cenk Cemre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Samatya FK reached it. In the 62nd minute Çağan Oskay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melik Bozkaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Galip Temcit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aktuğ Hunalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 minutes, Talip Saadettin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray and the Samatya FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Talip Saadettin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Galip Temcit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cenk Cemre. Galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Galip Temcit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Samatya FK! After having played for 95 minutes, Çağan Oskay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çağan Oskay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Samatya FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
