After 22 played minutes, ALIŞAR FK's Şener Tükelay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atıf Attaroğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ALIŞAR FK reached it. Burç Tüzel's late challenge caught a Bursa FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Burç Tüzel helped the player get up and apologised. After taking down the ball on Bursa FK's corner Cemal Dönmez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Barışcan Tolun quite easily take care of the ball. Kıvanç İplikçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abayhan Özdeş hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Bursa FK's Kıvanç İplikçi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barışcan Tolun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ercüment Tümay in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kıvanç İplikçi made a kick off. Bilge Ümit's late challenge caught a Bursa FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bilge Ümit helped the player get up and apologised. Bilge Ümit kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Hatemi Murat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Ercüment Tümay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barışcan Tolun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ercüment Tümay scored 1-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barışcan Tolun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Kıvanç İplikçi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barışcan Tolun was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Bursa FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ercüment Tümay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the ALIŞAR FK defense, Kıvanç İplikçi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barışcan Tolun. The ALIŞAR FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barışcan Tolun should have stopped the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
