After some careless play in the Bursa FK defense, Osman Sabahaddin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atıf Attaroğlu. The Bursa FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atıf Attaroğlu should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kıvanç İplikçi in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hacı Balıkçı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, Ercüment Tümay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hacı Balıkçı. Meric's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ercüment Tümay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Atıf Attaroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Bülent Güdü in the 15th minute of the match. If Kıvanç İplikçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Bülent Güdü was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Meric's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Yavuzalp Settar kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kıvanç İplikçi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hacı Balıkçı was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Hacı Balıkçı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ender Kaplan in the 31st minute of the match. Bursa FK were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Meric's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cemal Dönmez took the corner. The corner led Bursa FK's Cemal Dönmez to fire away a dangerous shot which Hacı Balıkçı despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kıvanç İplikçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Meric's Ahmet Bülent Güdü nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atıf Attaroğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Bursa FK's Kıvanç İplikçi got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osman Sabahaddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atıf Attaroğlu having to interfere. In the 75thth minute of the game Ahmet Bülent Güdü who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bursa FK's Atıf Attaroğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Kutay Onursay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hacı Balıkçı. The goal made the score 2-2. Atakan Acem charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atakan Acem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Meric booed when Bursa FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atakan Acem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osman Sabahaddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atıf Attaroğlu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kıvanç İplikçi in the 93rd minute of play forced Meric's goalkeeper Hacı Balıkçı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meric's Hacı Balıkçı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Meric from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
