Süruri Akyıldız charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Süruri Akyıldız the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Sakaryaspor got a freekick which was hit by Süruri Akyıldız. After 5 played minutes Sakaryaspor got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Arif Şafakoğlu. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Metin Beysan sped through Yaglidere FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Afşar Canal. 12 minutes into the match, Yaglidere FK's goal looked a bit too open when Süruri Akyıldız came free, but Afşar Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Metin Beysan came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Sakaryaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metin Beysan couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Yaglidere FK's Kaptan Sanbay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rıfat İhya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Mustafa Arif Şafakoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Metin Beysan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afşar Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Sakaryaspor got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Arif Şafakoğlu. If Mürsel İpekçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Oğuzhan Kemal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nafiz İmren during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yaglidere FK booed when Sakaryaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nafiz İmren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Metin Beysan scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afşar Canal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Yaglidere FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sakaryaspor were winning 0-2.

Süruri Akyıldız fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afşar Canal having to interfere. Süruri Akyıldız's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afşar Canal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After 59 minutes of play Sakaryaspor's Süruri Akyıldız was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Sakaryaspor's Süruri Akyıldız got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute, Yaglidere FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Metin Beysan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Yaglidere FK booed when Sakaryaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keramettin Kutalmış didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Kaptan Sanbay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rıfat İhya was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Kaptan Sanbay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rıfat İhya. Sakaryaspor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
