Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) TRABZONSPOR's Alemdar Urhan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of TRABZONSPOR booed when Yahyali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutay Tanbey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Yahyali's Şevket Bedi got a free kick in the 11th minute. Alemdar Urhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Yahyali's goal looked a bit too open when Cezmi Yörükoğlu came free, but Korkut Tekinel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, TRABZONSPOR's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gazanfer Hürsel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 21 played minutes TRABZONSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Alperen Uğurlu. In the 30th minute, one of Yahyali:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yahyali. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for TRABZONSPOR. Mahir Pamiroğlu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Korkut Tekinel. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gazanfer Hürsel in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serter Baştürk saved TRABZONSPOR from getting behind. If Gazanfer Hürsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gazanfer Hürsel made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gazanfer Hürsel in the 54th minute of play forced TRABZONSPOR's goalkeeper Serter Baştürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alemdar Urhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Korcan Deveci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Sezgin Reşit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TRABZONSPOR's Serter Baştürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutay Tanbey in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Yahyali's Gazanfer Hürsel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serter Baştürk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kutay Tanbey scored 3-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serter Baştürk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kutay Tanbey struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Serter Baştürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yahyali. Kutay Tanbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serter Baştürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer Hürsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kutay Tanbey took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serter Baştürk. Serter Baştürk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Serter Baştürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutay Tanbey in the 94th minute of the match. Korkut Tekinel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alemdar Urhan's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
