After 8 played minutes Pamukova got a freekick which was hit by Vahit Okbudun. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ömür Yüce in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şahap İlke saved Pamukova from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozkurt Batı in the 27th minute of play forced Sivas's goalkeeper Lütfullah Korur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Batuğ Işıldar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Bozkurt Batı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sivas's Lütfullah Korur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batuğ Işıldar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şahap İlke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdullatif Tüzün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ömür Yüce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şahap İlke having to interfere. When Vahit Okbudun fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pamukova's protests and gave Vahit Okbudun a yellow card for diving instead. Birkan Maruf's late challenge caught a Sivas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birkan Maruf helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pamukova's Birkan Maruf got a free kick in the 59th minute. A hard shot 61 in the game by Ömür Yüce from a close distance when the talented Şahap İlke managed to make a qualified save. Pamukova's players were relieved. Şahap İlke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdullatif Tüzün in the 62nd minute of play. Arif Burak Bilge hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes Sivas got a freekick which was hit by Birdal Yanaç. The Pamukova fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Pamukova's Batuğ Işıldar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ömür Yüce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şahap İlke having to interfere. Abdullatif Tüzün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Şahap İlke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şahap İlke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdullatif Tüzün in the 81st minute of play. Pamukova's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Songurhan Durualp scored to the left of an out of position Şahap İlke, making the score, 1-2. 87 minutes into the match, Sivas's Arif Burak Bilge broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Pamukova booed when Sivas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Burak Bilge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Yağızalp Sonat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lütfullah Korur skillfully saved the ball. Ömür Yüce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Şahap İlke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sivas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
