Cüngüs's Levent Kemal got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rıfkı Nurtekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bulut Nesefi having to interfere. The supporters of Cüngüs booed when İslamistan SK. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Türkeş Sabuncu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rıfkı Nurtekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Türkeş Sabuncu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bilge Kağan Durusan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fatih Güneş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The İslamistan SK. fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when İslamistan SK.'s Türkeş Sabuncu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, İslamistan SK.'s Bulut Nesefi got control of the ball when Levent Kemal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fehmi Hançer kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Türkeş Sabuncu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bulut Nesefi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fehmi Hançer in the 51st minute of play. İslamistan SK.'s Fatih Güneş got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Türkeş Sabuncu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bilge Kağan Durusan having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Levent Kemal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cüngüs's Bilge Kağan Durusan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Cüngüs from getting a goal against them. Levent Kemal struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Bulut Nesefi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cüngüs. After some careless play in the İslamistan SK. defense, Levent Kemal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bulut Nesefi. The İslamistan SK. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bulut Nesefi should have stopped the shot. Rıfkı Nurtekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bulut Nesefi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Türkeş Sabuncu took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Bilge Kağan Durusan to make any attempt to save it. The İslamistan SK. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing İslamistan SK. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
