Cüngüs's Bilge Kağan Durusan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hurşit Durukan in the 6th minute of play. Doğa Özdoruk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bilge Kağan Durusan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hurşit Durukan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Cüngüs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fehmi Hançer to maneuver through the defense. When Doğa Özdoruk came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ankaragücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğa Özdoruk couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Doğa Özdoruk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ankaragücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Doğa Özdoruk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bilge Kağan Durusan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gürsel Paksoy hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 61 minutes, Levent Kemal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cüngüs and the Ankaragücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Levent Kemal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bilge Kağan Durusan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğa Özdoruk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bilge Kağan Durusan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Doğa Özdoruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Levent Kemal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Yağızhan Canel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Levent Kemal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 80 played minutes Rıfkı Nurtekin rounded Ankaragücü's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Bilge Kağan Durusan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hurşit Durukan in the 84th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Doğa Özdoruk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bilge Kağan Durusan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ankaragücü's Hurşit Durukan got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Doğa Özdoruk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bilge Kağan Durusan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ankaragücü had played much better football throughout.
