İzzet Ergönül made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Hanönü's Seyrani Uzma ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind İzzet Ergönül. İzzet Ergönül yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enis Behiç Şener in the 16th minute of play forced İskenderunGücü's goalkeeper İzzet Ergönül to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İzzet Ergönül showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enis Behiç Şener, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Hanönü's Ender Özerdim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berker Tunçsoy in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Hanönü's goal looked a bit too open when Utku Baloğlu came free, but Ender Özerdim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aytaç Özberk kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes İskenderunGücü got a freekick which was hit by İshak Kutbay. The crowd rose to their feet as Hanönü's Enis Behiç Şener slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of İzzet Ergönül. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. After 42 played minutes İskenderunGücü got a freekick which was hit by Utku Baloğlu. In the 44th minute, Hanönü's Enis Behiç Şener ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind İzzet Ergönül. İzzet Ergönül yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Enis Behiç Şener made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Hanönü got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Göktuğ Nevruz. In the 52nd minute of the match, Utku Baloğlu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ender Özerdim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. İzzet Ergönül made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enis Behiç Şener in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the İskenderunGücü defense, Ahmet Göktuğ Nevruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İzzet Ergönül. The İskenderunGücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İzzet Ergönül should have stopped the shot. Seyrani Uzma hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Utku Baloğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ender Özerdim was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After a rather tough play, İskenderunGücü's Muzaffer İshak got a free kick in the 70th minute. İzzet Ergönül showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enis Behiç Şener in the 73rd minute of the match. İskenderunGücü's İzzet Ergönül played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Nevruz in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Seyrani Uzma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İzzet Ergönül. İskenderunGücü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seyrani Uzma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. The supporters of Hanönü booed when İskenderunGücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. İshak Kutbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Efe Nadi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hanönü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Cuma Ilımlı put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in İskenderunGücü fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Hanönü. Semail Tekay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving İzzet Ergönül. 8-1. 97 minutes into the match, İskenderunGücü's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Göktuğ Nevruz came free, but İzzet Ergönül reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Utku Baloğlu's late challenge caught a Hanönü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Utku Baloğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Utku Baloğlu hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Hanönü players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
