Hanönü's Enis Behiç Şener got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Afşar Hekimbaşı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genesis's supporters rose to their feet, but Afşar Hekimbaşı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee showed Tuna Mahmut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Genesis getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Tuna Mahmut hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Afşar Hekimbaşı made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Aras Işıldar managed to get in a good position for a shot.
