The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sedat Bardakçı sped through Bozdogan SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hatemi Rusuhi. Cengizhan Ferikoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfullah Özgulec having to interfere. Sedat Bardakçı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatemi Rusuhi having to interfere. Seyfullah Özgulec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cengizhan Ferikoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hatemi Rusuhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eyüp Yazıcıoğlu in the 44th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes FBSK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Nedim Mahmut. Seyfullah Özgulec made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Erhun Uyar sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Cengizhan Ferikoğlu made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes FBSK got a freekick which was hit by Şinasi İlsev. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 58th minute, but Hatemi Rusuhi got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Bozdogan SK hanging dry this time. Zeki Gülen hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ahmet Nedim Mahmut, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mehmet Bilgetay's late challenge caught a FBSK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Bilgetay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FBSK booed when Bozdogan SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Bilgetay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Eyüp Yazıcıoğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hatemi Rusuhi. Eyüp Yazıcıoğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 71st minute, Cengizhan Ferikoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sedat Bardakçı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hatemi Rusuhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hatemi Rusuhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sedat Bardakçı in the 76th minute. Aktaç Veli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. When the match was over FBSK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bozdogan SK throughout the match.
